Soft-top: It takes 5-10 minutes to fold the soft-top off of a Jeep, thus revealing the front and back seats.

Hardtop: With just a few clicks, you can enjoy the sun and tropical breezes in Hawaii. Unfortunately, the back panels are not removable.

It takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to drive without stopping. Of course, making a few stops along the way takes longer.

While it only takes about 45 minutes, you may want to allow a bit more time as you could stop and explore some of the beaches along way.

While Honolulu is a big city, most drivers are looking to tour the perimeter of the Island which is fairly relaxing. Local Oahu drivers and tourists are typically friendly on the road. In fact, car horns are rarely used.

The answer is typically no, but you may want to consider renting a Jeep for a least 1-2 days to help you explore the beautiful outer reaches of Oahu.
